The User Management page allows administrators to create and manage local users in Verax Protect.
Each user is assigned a role that determines their level of access within the platform.
Note
If Single Sign-On (SSO) is enabled, users can sign in using your organization's identity provider. User roles and permissions are still managed within Verax Protect.
Add a New User
Navigate to Settings → User Management.
Click Add user.
The Add New User dialog appears.
Provide the following information:
Email – User's email address.
First name – User's first name.
Last name – User's last name.
Password – Initial password for local authentication.
Role – The user's level of access within Verax Protect.
Click Save to create the user.
Click Save and add another to create another user.
Note
Users can be added one at a time.
User Roles
When creating a user, assign the role that best matches their responsibilities.
Role | Description |
|---|---|
Super Admin | Full administrative access to Verax Protect, including system configuration and user management. |
Admin | Can configure and manage Verax Protect, including protection policies and system settings. |
Security Analyst | Read-only access for monitoring and investigating AI activity and security events. |
User | Read-only access intended for business users who need visibility into AI usage and risk. |
Note
Access to request content is configured separately by a Super Admin and may be restricted regardless of the assigned role.
Password Requirements
Passwords must meet the following requirements:
At least 8 characters
At least one lowercase letter
At least one uppercase letter
At least one number
At least one special character
Managing Users
Administrators can:
Create users
Edit user information
Change user roles
Reset passwords
Delete users
Changes take effect immediately.
