Verax helps organizations securely adopt AI by providing visibility, governance, and real-time protection across AI tools, agents, and Model Context Protocol (MCP) servers. As AI becomes part of everyday work, organizations need more than traditional network and data security controls. Employees use hundreds of AI tools, AI agents can perform autonomous actions across enterprise systems, and MCP servers introduce new ways to access internal and external resources. Verax enables organizations to adopt AI confidently by discovering AI usage, enforcing security policies, and maintaining visibility into every AI interaction. Learn more at [**https://www.verax.ai**](https://www.verax.ai). --- ## What Verax Protects Verax secures every layer of the enterprise AI ecosystem. ### AI Tools Discover and govern AI tools used across your organization, whether approved or unsanctioned. Examples include: - ChatGPT - Claude - Gemini - Microsoft Copilot - Perplexity - Cursor - Hundreds of additional AI tools --- ### AI Agents Monitor how AI agents interact with enterprise systems and external services. Gain visibility into: - Agent activity - Connected services - Agent workflows - Critical actions - AI-generated operations --- ### MCP Servers Discover and control Model Context Protocol (MCP) servers and the tools they expose. Examples include: - GitHub MCP - Gmail MCP - Slack MCP - HubSpot MCP - Asana MCP Verax provides visibility into available MCP tools, their capabilities, associated risk, and how they are used across your organization. --- ## What Verax Does Verax combines discovery, governance, and protection in a single platform. Key capabilities include: - Discover AI tools, agents, and MCP servers. - Inventory and categorize AI technologies used across the organization. - Apply identity-aware access controls. - Inspect requests for sensitive data and policy violations. - Redact or block sensitive content before it reaches an AI tool. - Control which AI tools, MCP servers, and MCP actions are allowed. - Monitor AI agent activity and connected services. - Maintain complete visibility and auditability across AI interactions. --- ## How Verax Works Verax evaluates every AI interaction against your organization's security policies before it reaches the destination. Depending on your deployment architecture, traffic is routed to Verax through your existing network infrastructure or the Verax Endpoint Agent. For every interaction, Verax: 1. Identifies the user. 2. Identifies the AI tool, agent, or MCP server. 3. Analyzes the request for sensitive content. 4. Evaluates the request against configured policies. 5. Applies the first matching rule. 6. Allows, modifies, or blocks the request. 7. Records the interaction for auditing and investigation. This provides predictable, centralized policy enforcement across your AI environment. --- ## Core Components Verax Protect includes several integrated capabilities. | Component | Purpose | | --- | --- | | **Dashboards** | Monitor security posture, AI adoption, and agent activity. | | **AI Activity** | Review requests, responses, tool usage, and AI interactions. | | **Agent Map** | Visualize relationships between users, AI agents, MCP servers, and connected services. | | **AI Catalog** | Inventory AI tools and MCP servers, including risk and governance information. | | **Rules** | Define identity-aware security and governance policies. | | **Protect** | Configure inspection, detection, and protection settings. | | **Audit Log** | Track administrative actions and configuration changes. | --- ## Getting Started To deploy Verax Protect: 1. Upload and activate your license. 2. Connect your identity provider (optional, but recommended). 3. Configure AI traffic routing using your preferred deployment method. 4. Install Endpoint Agents if required. 5. Review the AI Catalog and discovered AI tools. 6. Configure protection policies and rules. 7. Monitor AI activity and security posture using the dashboards. --- ## Next Steps After completing the initial setup, you can: - Discover AI usage across your organization. - Configure protection policies. - Govern AI tools and MCP servers. - Monitor AI agents and connected services. - Investigate AI interactions and security events. - Audit administrative activity.
